Privacy Policy
Overview, Scope, and Definitions
What this policy covers when you use Deskbound Review and how we handle your information
Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Deskbound Review collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, contact us, or otherwise interact with our content. It is written for a U.S. audience and is intended to be read alongside any notices presented at the point of collection.
Effective date: September 10, 2026. If we change this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date and post the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies going forward.
Deskbound Review is a publication focused on independent desk-research reviews of home office equipment. Our editorial conclusions are based on comparing public information such as manufacturer specifications and official product pages, documentation and manuals, published retailer prices, published customer reviews and ratings, and independent public reporting. We do not perform hands-on testing.
This policy applies to information collected through our website and communications. It does not apply to third-party websites we may reference or link to. Those third parties have their own privacy policies and practices.
When we use the term «personal information», we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with a particular consumer or household. Some laws also define «sensitive personal information» as a narrower category with additional protections.
We may act as a «business», «controller», or similar role under certain U.S. state privacy laws depending on context, and we may use «service providers» or «processors» to help operate the site. Your rights and our obligations can vary by state and by the specific processing activity.
Contact details for privacy questions or requests are listed at the end of this policy. You may contact us by email at desk@deskbound-review.example, by phone at +1 415 555 0198, or by mail at 1188 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States.
